Just standing......

      I have been dealing with migraines for about 16 years now and it's just gotten worse. They come so frequent and they kick harder than a mule! The vomiting, the dehydration, the raising of the blood pressure, the bathroom going, the warming up and the freezing! The body trembling, dry heaves, and the total draining of any strength. I pray and pray and pray, just begging for a healing time and time again. I have to remind myself during each episode that God is with me and I just have to stand on His word. No matter how much pain and suffering I go through five days out of seven it can seem like God has abandoned me. At times I feel like my body is going to just explode because the pain is so intense. I call on the name of Jesus in the midst of it all and remember what the bible says: By His stripes I am healed! The devil mocks me as I lay on the floor in excruciating pain saying,"Where is your God now?" I lift my hands to heaven and say, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him" I can't help but think of how the woman with the issue of blood suffered for so long. I think of Job and what he endured. God gave sight to the blind, gave a cripple strength to get up and walk, and even resurrected the dead. I'm sure he can deliver me from chronic migraine. I guess I am going through this particular pain period for so long so that God may get the glory when I share my story of healing. I cannot wait til that glorious day comes my way. In the meantime, I'm just standing on the promises of God.

Please, put the right price tag on the proper display!!!

Okay, so I'm in Shop Rite last night grabbing a few items. There is a big display of Martinson Coffee and a sign that says $1.87. So I get home and glance my receipt and it says $4.99. I was not happy!!!! We call the store and they said the sign was for Choc full o nuts coffee. What da Jakes??? Why would you even put the sign for Choc full o nuts on a Martinson display? Now I have to go back and return it! Wasting my dang gas! That is not cool!!! Shop Rite is about 3 towns over from where I live!
